Following education at Winchester and a degree in Modern History at University College, Durham, David qualified as a solicitor with Slaughter and May, practising with them for five years in London and Paris. David then spent some time in investment banking with County Bank and Citicorp, before joining Tyzack, one of the UK’s oldest executive search firms. He has been with them for the majority of the past thirty-five years, being Managing Partner for the past eighteen years. He also ran a quoted recruitment company for a shortspace of time. David specialises in Board and C Suite executive search across avariety of sectors, having originally started as a specialist in the Media andEntertainment sector.
David is also an EMCC accredited executive coach.
David is married with two adult children and lives in the East Surrey constituency and, outside work, enjoys golf and padel, supports Harlequins FC and spends time walking the family’s two dogs.
